Martins Sesks is striving to add a seventh round to his partial 2025 World Rally Championship campaign with M-Sport-Ford, continuing at Rally Portugal this week. After impressive outings in Poland, Latvia, and Chile, where he narrowly missed out on a podium due to a technical fault, the 2023 European Rally Championship runner-up has secured a six-round deal with M-Sport. Sesks, 25, is set to compete in Sweden, Portugal, Sardinia, Greece, Estonia, and Finland, with efforts to include a yet-to-be-confirmed seventh round in his schedule. The Latvian driver expressed gratitude for the support received from sponsors in his small country, emphasizing the enthusiastic backing for his part-time campaign in this year’s World Rally Championship. Maintaining a focus on consistency and experience, Sesks aims to deliver solid performances on Portugal’s challenging rough gravel stages, prioritizing completion of events over collecting points in the manufacturer standings.
